I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, I swear!

So Happy Belated New Years! I got through finals perfectly and started a whole new semester with all new classes, which I enjoy more than the last.

In 1a, I have office aide, which really is no big deal. Last semester, I had an English teacher, Mrs. Pound, who many people despised because of how much work she gave them and it was just her and me throughout the whole class. This semester, I have a math teacher, Mr. Innes, who apparently is even more evil than Mrs. Pound.  Although, it really makes no different for me, I just run errands and tape stuff on the wall and occasionally grade papers. I actually missed the first two days of this class, one I was sick and two they were in the bookroom and never arrived. So when I actually introduced myself and sat down in my seat, I looked up to find no-one other than, Phillip (the guy from my English class last year who sat alone). I mean, the charms kind of gone now that his girlfriend is also in the class and I saw him playing with her hair. Normally, that stuff is cute and all you want to say is, “Awww,” but this playing of hair is just awkward. It’s weird.

1b, which is choir, hasn’t changed much. Nothing to note here.

2, is Senior English Honors.  This is turning out to be a very easy class, despite some of the 85’s that I’ve gotten. Everyone’s really nice and relaxed. Just yesterday, the guys were just sitting around quoting Dodgeball to the whole class. Although, I don’t really want to admit that I’m a junior, but it’s really hard, since they keep talking about Graduation and Prom.

3, is Spanish 1. It’s really basic, I mean REALLY basic, which is what it’s supposed to be, but to the point where I’m thinking, “This is too simple, there’s got to be a catch.” Although this class surprised me as well, when Aidan walked through the door. Aidan was my 4th grade crush and I crushed HARD. I even remember just brushing his shoulder once, then running to tell my friend about it. Then when I saw him again in 7th grade he pretended he didn’t know me. Then when I saw him last year, we talked for a little bit, but nothing happened. So when he walked through the door, my heart still went, BA-BOOM, BA-BOOM, BA-BOOM. Even though, I know hearts don’t sound like that, but I swear I was beginning to think the guy next to me, Will (who is really nice), could hear it. But it died down soon enough. Since then nothing much has happened in that class. Although, I have found myself in trouble when my teacher will say something in Spanish and expect me to respond and I ‘m absolutely clueless. Thank goodness, at least one guy will whisper me the answer. (There are a total of 6 girls in the class, including me)

4, is Musical Theatre and it’s a really fun class. Although, I have to admit I feel a bit intimidated by everyone there, because they all know each other well and are such good actors. But it has been pretty fun, this week we read through Tarzan the Musical (Our school is putting on the production, we’re even going to be getting equipment that allows us to fly), watched Tarzan and Gorilla movies. Tarzan was the best though. We were all on the edges of our seats at the end, yelling, “No!”, “What?”, “Ooo!” and gasping in horror when Clayton hung, literally. Then someone said in astonishment, “This is a DISNEY movie!”

So basically that is my life right now. I’m also preparing for several auditions that are coming up.

So hasta luego!! (I’ve learned something)
